I poor my 5th metatarsal. I was 4 weeks in a cast, I've been out of the patch 2 weeks and I hit 4 months to go wearing a splint. My orthopedist said that eventually I will be healthy to separate with the splint but......I should hit asked him in how long I won't feel discompose anymore. If you ever had that category of injury, how long did it take before you were rid of the discompose and were healthy to go back to your favourite activities? Thanks,

dude i feel for you i have a cast correct today and this is the third time i have broken my ankle in the aforementioned stinking place you should be able to separate about two to threesome or four weeks after the pain from the trauma fully subsides. but please for your own sake do not start doing stuff without the permision of your doctor. ps it took me about two months from start to finish to be fully free from every pain but just to be innocuous you should be careful and wear one of those cool ankle and foot support things when you go back to your sports because of the fact that your bone will today forever be weaker and morre prone to trauma then your another ones because of this break, i feel for you... i really do

You will be able to run again when it heals. But the pain... ...the pain may ever be there.
