OK, so I went to give blood today and after getting all the prep done, the tech inserted the IV tube. Upon her doing this, I change immense pain in the crook of my arm, to the point that she had to remove the IV and I could not actually donate. The site is still sore and I have a nasty wound forming, as substantially as some engrossing marks. I initially thought it was a blown vein, but upon researching, it looks nothing like this. The evaluation is the the outside of the depreciate site, appears to run parallel to the vein the needle was inserted into and then there is a blood wound agitated away from the "needle mark." This is a represent taken roughly 4.5 hours after the puncture. You crapper clearly see the flushed depreciate evaluation and the purple flushed is the questionable thing: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=34812506&l=d487c&id=14303090 This photo is from 7.5 hours after the depreciate and you crapper see that the subcutaneous injury has spread and there is now a nasty purple wound surrounding the modify portion of the mark: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=34812959&l=39605&id=14303090 Anyone have any ideas?

It is a blown vein. I undergo this because it happens to me every time I intend murder drawn. I also undergo because I'm a phlebotomist (I entertainer blood). If she got murder from the site then she was actually in the varicosity but maybe not every the way. If she had to modify sites then she ruptured the varicosity (no biggie) and murder was allowed to seep under the skin. Its not a big deal but if you start noticing red lines streaming from it then you need to see a Dr.

From what I see it looks like a hemotobia. But I can't understand why there's an X evaluation on it. I would assume after the strange evaluation disappears you might try again in 6 mths.
