My mom calls them "stone bruises". Waking or running on hard surfaces same concrete, rocks, basketball courts etc. crapper cause a deep bruising (think 'knives' or 'needles'). The bruises are not the category you crapper see. The symptoms crapper terminal for several weeks. To prevent this, wear shock-absorbing footwear. If the pain is severe, you should visit your direct care DR.
