Yes that is normal for pronounce fractures. i had pronounce fractures in both my shins from muay thai (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIHeyyLsBwU if your interested) anyways it got so bad from the training in australia that i was confining to a rotate chair for 8 months so my shins could heal. and then i used crutches for a while, slope remember how long. it might be a good idea for you to get a rotate chair so that your legs crapper move to heal, because walking about will cause the clappers to split boost and cause more issues, and retard the sanative process in this time, to ameliorate i drank loads of whole milk, and took metal pills to speed up recovery. Also i suggest you take anti inflammatory pills, as those will reduce swelling around the affected bones, in turn speeding up bone development and thus recovery *edit- also stick your patch back on even if it hurts like hell. take pain killers if need be. hopefully this helps and goodluck.

Have you experienced any tingling or pins and needles? Go to your doctor or an emergency department today. The patch may be too tight and you may need it removed or replaced. There crapper be another problems that occur in fractures of the lower leg where push builds up in the legs compartments causing discompose and tingling which would need medical attetion. Its proably something minor but you should get it checked by a person who crapper see and examine you. Hope that helps
