Hello, At the bottom of my right inner thigh (above the knee) there is a spot where it feels hard/tough and my varicosity sticks out, and it does hurt. Any idea what this could be? I had this many years past and it went absent so I never thought anything of it, but being that it just popped up again I was wondering if anyone had some idea on this since I can't actually wager my doctor until 4 months from now.

for 4 months. I wouldn't wait until then to find out what it is. It could be a blood clod or something very serious. When something hurts, there's a reason. Your body is informing you something. Please call your student or go to the emergency room or a walk-in clinic. You requirement medical advice correct NOW! Good Luck and don't wait!

I would call your direct doctor if this isn’t better by next week. Somethings that might be helpful are frequent applications of moist heat to the Atlantic to encourage circulation to the area, you crapper achieve this with a moist towel that you heat in the cook to a temperature just comfortably blistering ( ingest tending to not defect yourself) also lawful doses of an antiflammatory medicine such as Motrin for individual consecutive doses. Elevating the extremity as much as possible may support reduce the swelling as might a compression unshoed or support hose. Do not cross your legs. Don’t ingest alcohol as this module drive your veins to dilate. having varicose veins doesn't guarantee you module develop a clot but because they are more easily irritated it is possible. If the Atlantic is blistering to the touch, red, and agonized you requirement to be checked for a unfathomable or superficial varicosity thrombosis (clot)
