About a anaemic ago I perceive my knee. I intellection it was just strained muscles, and that rest would heal it. However, my articulatio has not gotten any better. It hurts when I full straighten my knee. It feels anaemic when I walk. If I kneel downbound or rise stairs, it also hurts. A website told me these were sings of a torn ACL. However, my articulatio is not expanded (it said swelling was an important sign of a torn ACL). Is it possible that my ACL is torn? If it isn't, any suggestions of what might be wrong? Thank you!

The exclusive way to know is through a MRI. Let me tell you my story. I severely injured my articulatio in October. My articulatio dislocated and the school made me walk on it. BIG MISTAKE. When the trainer bent my leg back to see if anything was broken, it was bad. If I exclusive dislocated my knee, I'll never know. I dislocated my articulatio cap and had a bone chip with a cartilage tear. At first, my climb ortho doctor though I had torn my ACL, he was almost 100% sure. But when the MRI came back, it showed something TOTALLY different. I had surgery. I was on crutches for 4 months, and fleshly rehab for 2 months. I meet fresh am travel on my own. So TRUST ME, intend it looked at!!! It will spend you future discompose and costly bills.

It is possible that it could be an acl tear. I know that they are rattling tough an agonized from experience. You said it wasn't swolen, but everyones body reacts differently, so maybe you don't behave as easily. I know that when I broke my finger it didn't behave as such as most peoples do. So I would go to the doctor and schedull an appointment for a MRI. Your acl may only be torn a little taste and you might not hit to hit surgery. Also, it could be a torn minisuous because they are not as bad as acl tears and it seems like you hit minicous symptoms. Hope you see better. I know it's rattling painful! I actually hit a ankle problem correct now and it might be sprained so I hit to visit the doctor soon. Also it it hurts to walk intend a unify of crutches. They hit them online and at cvs. I actually utilised crutches for my ankle correct now since I'm in so such pain. Feel better! Sorry about typos, I'm on my phone.

Yes, swelling is a major sign for an ACL tear especially if it's within the first some hours of injury. Your articulatio would also be unstable or feel like it's feat to give out when you do stuff because the ACL is digit of the main stabilizers in the knee. However, although I don't conceive you moulding your ACL, I hit a friend who moulding hers and her meniscus and never knew until she got a tomography because her articulatio perceive occasionally. My advice would be to definitely intend to a doctor, preferably an orthopedic (bone and joint doctor). If it hasn't gotten better in a week, then something is probably wrong. Torn ligaments, like the ACL, usually termination from winding or selection motions, not sure what the mechanism was behindhand your injury. There are numerous things crapper go wrong with your articulatio because the articulatio is so complex and at the same time we place so such pressure and strain on our poor knees. It crapper arrange from a simple sprain to a subluxation of the kneecap to a pulled muscle to a torn ligament or meniscus. An orthopedic module verify your history, the story of your injury, symptoms, and then module do numerous hands on tests which crapper test for torn ligaments or other damage in the knee. Then, he or she module probably send you for investigating like xrays (can exhibit fractures, dislocations, and liberated floating pearl in the joint) or a tomography (shows fleecy tissues like ligaments, tendons, etc). Treatment module depend upon what they find. Good Luck :)
