4 life ago I was working and my finger got under a board that was being screwed onto a post which, for demand of a meliorate term, smashed it. It perceive pretty bad but it didn't perceive for long. It never swelled up at every and since then hasn't been painful or black and blue at all. But since i smashed it part of the tip of my finger is numb, and it hasn't gotten any better. It's not bothering me at all, which is ground I haven;t gone to the doctor. it doesn't look unearthly or anything, it's just numb. Why is it same this? should i be worried? am i going to get the feeling back?

You may hit pinched or hurt a nerve. I would go to the doctor if it is still numb in the morning.

It doesn't sound same you have whatever vascular/tissue damage that is moving the murder flow however the fact that you have numbness in the counsel could indicate whatever secondary nerve damage to the very tip. Since there are no other signs of trauma, this could hold in a month, providing you don't re-injure it. As long as it is not moving function of your finger you can decide whether to go on with it same this or go wager a doctor. Again, since you described that it is getting murder and circulation and there appears to be no infection, you have the option of waiting. Another abstract to consider though, and this is not common, is the development of a "felon" or a pocket of puss under the bed of the nail. You will know when this starts as these are extremely painful and should be taken tending of by a physician. Just watch for redness, pain or symptom in that area. Hope this helps.
