I woke up yesterday morning and the crowning of my digit was red, swollen and numb, not to mention so painful! Now it doesnt throb as bad but my whole region digit is red/purple and swollen now, my whole digit is desensitize and and hornlike ot bend. Near the nab itself a yellowish/greenish/white area developed, its small. But theres this faint flushed color downbound the side of the digit but no farther that i can tell anyways. maybe downbound to my carpus (hard to tell in that area cause im a little flushed today from the sun) It just looks like i slammed a car door on my finger. Ive had no cuts or scrapes or anything. Also, are the antibiotics for the infections like this small?

YES. I had a girlfriend who was in the infirmary for a week cause an infection got into her joint and she almost lost her finger. It doesn't perceive anything to go, eliminate your wallet, but better be safe, and it sounds really bad...

Go to the ER. Do it now. You've got a significant infection.
