 My left knee has been hurting for a while?

Well it's definitely no unceasing pain, but it started a pair of months past (I don't undergo why), every time that I alter or curve my knee after movement with my legs bent or straightened my the inside of my kneecap reaaaaally hurts, so I always have to be careful when I move my leg... I don't have pain walking or running. Like, right now it's symptom because I just changed my movement position... Do you think it's something serious? The pain worsened over the past few months but it's not like impossible and it doesn't rattling change my daily life...

Just an idea....google Patella-femoral syndrome and see if it matches. Pain commonly comes on after sitting for a while.
