My betrothed got in to an a Motorcycle accident today and we went to the hospital they said he just strained ligaments and tendons. They said he'd be dustlike but he is in so much discompose hes on the bounds of tears. and i don't know how to make him see better. I have had Knee surgeries so i have massive amounts of Ice packs and I put those on his knee and he takes Ibuprofen. I just don't know what to do, some advice on how to help him?

Call the ER where he was seen and communicate if they will call in a prescription for a stronger pain drug to a 24 distance pharmacy in your area. They may only give you a couple of pills but it will support if it makes it doable for him to sleep. Other than that, you are doing all a mortal can, giving ice, ibuprofen, empathy and serving him stay off of it.

I don't know who thumbed down Brenda, but she's right;; the ER should have given him pain meds;; the icing should also be done in intervals..15-20 mins..any longer, it module counter what you are disagreeable to do;; also essay propping the calves up on pillows, so the feet are hanguing off; I module guarantee he is guarding those knees because he is in so much pain that it is only producing more pain;; get them relaxed..a slightly flexed supportive posturing is the best for him;; he also NEEDS to get up & walk;; if he can't, then again, occurrence the ER for crutches....& btw, the ''massive amounts" of cover packs won't do;; flexible gel cold packs on the conception of the knee that opens module be the best locate for him;; but he NEEDS to move those legs...you can "help him" do that, but don't do ALL the work;; he's got to move them himself to get the responses he wants...
