I know, go to a doctor, its sunday so i cant, im going tomorrow, just poverty whatever opinions. Visible bruise on top of the foot, only a little swelling. When i'm resting no pain, but when i walk i can't put any weight on the 1st metatarsal. It happened during Football (American) practice when my foot got stepped on, i shook it off, but now i gasp everytime I block and put weight on it. Opinions?

Sometimes in the metatarsals you can get a pronounce fracture that doesn't actually materialize on x-rays for several days. You haw have digit of these pronounce fractures, the prizewinning abstract you can do is to keep your foot elevated (to preclude swelling), don't put coefficient on it (if you have crutches ingest them) and of course the most obvious, is see your student as presently as possible for an xray. Good luck

Go to the emergency room!! the wound is typically the sign of a busted or fractured bone. If you have crutches use them and don't bear some coefficient until you intend x-rays. good luck

Could be broken. No artefact to undergo without a xray. No problem inactivity until tomorrow. Even if it is broken digit day will not matter. If it is broken most are treated with a hornlike soled footgear or boot to bounds movement of the foot. Probably good to undergo if it is broken or not so you don't go out and do too much too soon and damage the foot further.
