Hi, Since 1997, I hit been experiencing significant discompose in my SI Joint. The discompose was originally in the SI Joint, still it eventually affected other areas of my body because of overcompensation. I hit seen some assorted types of doctors and had some assorted opinion but to no avail. I hit also had some types of tests condemned but no finding. The discompose and symptom in my SI render can be debilitating at times; sometimes I put it is a bulging disk, still the MRI I took over six eld only showed a diminutive gibbosity which is normal for a former athlete, and I was told it was not what was causing my symptoms. M symptoms allow SI render pain, tightness and occassional discompose in one or both gluteals, and when this happens, I can hit tightness in my quads and calves, but no sciatic identify of pain. My question is it doable to hit a bulging round in your SI location but not hit the radiating discompose associating with a bulging disc/sciatica? Thanks.

OK first, there are no "discs" in your SI Region. There is a render capsule around this area, which haw hit some rousing which crapper be seen as a bulge on MRI. Discs are found in the spine. These act as damper absorbers for the spine. As for whether or not yu crapper hit a bulge in your lumbar rachis with no radiating pain, the answer is absolutely yes. They estimate that 80-90% of the population actually has a bulge to digit degree or another. However on some the bulge is such larger causing discompose and radiation. As for your condition, Your dripless muscles really crapper affect you SI joints. If your hamstrings are tight, it module pull your pelvis/SI render backwards. If it is your quads that are dripless ( calves compensate for dripless quads), your pelvis module pivot forward. I would recommend that you see a chiropractor. Many people hit had relief from SI render discompose with chiropractic care. However, unless you work on stretching out those dripless muscles, you module move to hit SI pain. Younot exclusive need to stretch, but you need to work out the oppsite muscles to help equilibrise the pelvis. So since you quads are tight, work out the hamstrings and exclusive stretch the quads. You crapper di this for all the muscles you are finding that are tight. I wish you the best
