How such sleep you got the period before. If you are tired or worried about something (your mood) what you were doing when you got the migrain and maybe the light and noise in the area.

What you eat, when you sleep, what category of day you had, did you wear perfume, what category of laundry clean you use. I kept a cephalalgia journal and it got rattling limited since I couldn't narrow down meet digit trigger. It took a while, but we got it figured out. Watch the food you eat for flavourer (if you don't know already) since it's a common causing for migraines. Best of luck!

Migraine journals are kept to help watch not exclusive the triggers, but crapper also help watch if you are having a common or classic cephalalgia or one of the cephalalgia variants. To watch your triggers write down: 1. The instance you went to sleep, the instance you woke up,and how you slept. If you hap to hit rest apnea did you ingest whatever form of breathed resource device. (sleep factors are important triggers for migraines) 2. Any significant stress issues which preceded or coincided with your cephalalgia ( again stress is a common trigger) 3. Visual stimulants preceding to and coinciding with your migraine, much as television, computer use, bright sunlight, driving at night, fluorescent lights, etc. (visual stimulants haw trigger migraines) 4. Environmental factors - much as strong odors like paint or perfume, or industrialized odors or cleaning materials. Dust, or other irritants. (Environmental irritants, especially odors haw trigger migraines) 5. Foods- is is well known that there are food triggers, and whatever affect whatever people and do not others. While whatever specialists recommend avoiding all doable triggers, others recommend tracking doable triggers in a book so they crapper be eliminated. here is a website to get a good partial itemize of food triggers: http://www.headaches.org/education/Headache_Topic_Sheets/Diet_and_Headache_-_Foods Also you should achievement information about the cephalalgia episode itself. 1. If there is an aura, exposit the aura, and provide the instance of onset, and the instance it stops. 2. Record the instance the aching starts. 3. Record the location of maximum aching pain. Describe the quality of the discompose (ie. sharp or pulse or dull). Descibe the severity of the aching at it's most severe. (try to ingest a discompose scale of 1 to 10 1 existence no discompose and 10 existence the worst discompose you crapper imagine) 4. Record some symptoms you hit related with the migraine, much as numbness of an extremity, or expiration of vision, or nausea or vomiting, sense to light or sound, confusion, expiration of consciousness, seizure, etc, 5. Record some methods you employ to resolve the headache, much as medications (include dose, and sort of times the drug was taken to resolve the problem) rest, biofeedback, hypnosis, oxygen etc. 6. Record instance aching resolved, and some residual problems, much as residual confusion, or difficulty speech or walking. The more thorough you crapper attain your aching journal, the easier it is for the specialist to diagnose and impact your headaches. If a person just gives a report of having a migraine, but doesn't give a flooded description, they could get an improper diagnosis, and be given a drug to impact the migraines which could attain their information worse, Hope this information helps.
