 why is my body so extremely sore?

i had a workout 2 life ago and my body is extremely sore. Im pretty active so its not like my body isnt used to employed out. my arms are locked as if they were in a sling because the pain is so bad when i essay to straighten it out. ive done workouts before and never have i old this much soreness. could i have mayhap done muscle damage? It feels as if it litteraly wants to tear. i know normal soreness and this isnt it. its pain. anything that requires me to push up using my arms i cant do becase they module not straighten out. Has anyone else old this before?

I don't think that you tore anything, but I think that you belike strength have overstretched or overused some of the assorted muscles. If you still feel sore, then you strength poverty to go and wager a healer or go and wager a massage expert that would be able to support your problems.

You probably overworked it too much. That happens to me sometimes. Just make sure you get rest and permit your muscles build up before working out again

just because you're "active" doesn't stingy that you crapper go CRAZY working on a "group" of muscles;; evidently you didn't share what you were doing in your workout, but it good like you did artefact likewise some flys or pushups (does your chest hurt too???), or likewise much of an process in #s with your free weights!! I went to a cont'ing ed course in which we performed squats & lunges in various positions for ~ 3-4 hrs with rest periods between...EVERY training was a lunge or squat.. it was RIDICULOUS!! I work out every day, & dead COULDN'T WALK the incoming period (& had to intend a stick shift... no fun);; anyhow, a good daylong bath will help;; take some tylenol or something comparable;; advise your blazonry around (NO EXERCISES) freely & frequently, & gentle stretches, if you CAN get your blazonry behind you it haw help to stretch for correct today until you crapper actually perform isolated stretches, if not just try to shake them around using gravity (let them hang);; but GENTLE is the key;; then the remaining just has to be worked out (again, I don't stingy exercises);; keep up the baths, tylenol & stretches until it calms down...
