 my throat hurts..do i have a cold?

ok so the left side of my throat hurts whenevr i swallow and my nose feels kinda stuffy...does that mean im beginnig to have a cold?? the pain started yesterday...what should i do before it gets worse?? thankss

well there could be whatever things criminal with ur throat and since ur throat and nose are connected they so have effects on each another but i would just take whatever dayquil and whatever nyquil
