I am cod to have an epideral for back pain. Has anyone had this done and how well did it work for you?

Yes, I had that done about 7-8 months ago. I had very bad pain actuation downbound my leg, called Sciatica. I went to the hospital and they did a lowercase shot of local to numb the area, then did the meninges steroidal injection. It took about 2 weeks for my pain to totally disapear, but it's gone and hasn't come back. Knock on wood, lol

i have had this done, alas it didnt work. my disc has collapsed and calcified around the nerve, so the only abstract that will help me is surgery. its rattling a 50/50 shot, but i sure hope it helps you. beatific luck

I'm rattling sorry you're in pain. My docs are talking about a nerve country or endocrine injections, I wonder if that's the same thing? (if so, you could try those cost in google searches too!) From what I've heard this sort of abstract has worked great for some and not at all for others. I guess I figure it's worth a shot. If it helps, we're also looking into TENS machines and acupuncture. Let me know how you get on?
