I had a cold about two weeks ago and that's when I started getting this pain/discomfort in my left passing incisor. I had the tooth capped about 9 eld ago and never had any problems with it until now. The discompose is there only when I bite down on the tooth rattling hard, otherwise it's ok (even tapping is fine). And I also have some sensitivity to cold/hot but that last for only 3 seconds or so... I don't undergo if I should just wait a little longer to wager if it goes away or if I should just go to the dentist... I'm rattling scared I'll need a root canal... What do you think?

Teeth do not ameliorate themselves. They don't get better. I'm afeard that you requirement to see the dentist, but you may just requirement to change a worn cap.
