I'm in a wheelchair and hit been for a long instance and I believe I'm suffering from sciatica. I've finished my research online and every symptom that I hit has been listed. I've been to my orthopaedic doctor and he said it wasn't by spine that was causing it because I hit a spinal fusion as a result from nonindulgent scoliosis. He told me to intend a new seat for my wheelchair and that should help, but offered nothing else. Since then, my right handicap has depart hurting, but NOW my mitt handicap is hurting, and such worse than my right digit did. I hit a burning/painful sensation play in my mitt buttock and going down to around my knee/calf area. I verify an Advil everyday (it started hurting about two weeks ago) and recently hit been attractive Lortab (my care had mitt over ones from surgery and she asked the pharmacist if I could verify them, and I can) and they both help a lot, but only for a certain turn of time. Every morning my handicap KILLS me, it's unbearable. My doctor doesn't believe that surgery is necessary. WHAT on earth crapper I do to relieve this pain? Should I stretch my legs a lot? ps - the pain has been so nonindulgent I've missed edifice for threesome days this week.

First of every I would see a neurologist kinda than an orthopedic doctor. If you haven't had a recent MRI, the dr. haw request a newborn one. It's the only trusty way to see if your spinal nerves are being compromised in some way. To not relieve that pressure on your nerves could result in imperishable nerve damage so don't retard in getting another opinion. Also....I would take an Alleve to reduce inflammation...seemed to support a tiny bit. Good luck.
