 Has anyone experienced sharp pains settled right behind the ears ?

Lately I hit been having sharp pains actuation behind my ears into my head and it hurts really bad. my sister says that happens to her on occasions, but it seems to be event more frequently to me, I notice them alot when I get status or stressed out, I was told it could ne tension, but I really don't know. It is scary at times drive it's really sharp pains, that come and go. I do plan on sight a doctor most this, but in the meantime I want to ask has anyone else had this difficulty or could possibly undergo what it is and what causes this? Thank you for your answers

It may be "trigeminal neuralgia". There is a facial nerve that can sometimes spasm for no particular reason and drive a dulled throb or an electric shock-type pain on the jawbone, nearby the temple and/or by the ear. It is often aerated with anti-convulsants like Tegratol & Dilantin.

is there sometimes a feeling of pressure? it could be your eardrums.
