I dislocated my knee terminal night (slipped downbound whatever stairs because I was drunk, oops!) and the doctor at the ER had to put the knee cap back in place. I am in a huge knee brace and on crutches until I crapper see the orthopedist next week. He gave me an rx for Percocet 5/325, 1-2 every 6 hours as needed. I was wondering if I crapper also take whatever Advil while taking this. My knee is HUGE and swollen and cover is just not bringing downbound the swelling. Any take interactions? I am not drinking anymore! and am an otherwise healthy 26 year older female. Trust me, I module not be going nearby any stairs for a while, especially after exposure to Tequila! BTW-these crutches are causing whatever serious chaffing on my underarms. My hands are also play to get a lowercase nakedness on bottom too. Any artefact to prevent this or make it better?

Percocet essentially already has advil in it.. Just in a different form. Try naproxen (Aleve) That works well to take downbound swelling since it is a modify of sodium.

there is no interaction between advil and percocet. Be aware that both are hard on the lining of the stomach, verify with food.

Percocet has acetaminophen in it (Tylenol) and Nuprin is ibuprofen. It is totally innocuous to verify together, and actually most docs would probably reccomend it. Advil, ibuprofen, will support with some inflammation you may have. Just do not verify some another products containing more acetaminophen (Tylenol) while attractive Percocet.

They are safe to verify together, and unlike what the digit person said, Percocet does not contain ibuprofen in it already, it contains tylenol. Just don't verify any additional tylenol while you are taking the Percocet since you could inadvertently verify likewise much and cause whatever liver damage. Try and keep your leg elevated above the level of your heart as much as possible, as this module help to reduce the swelling too. Be churchlike with the ice, 20 minutes every hour that you are awake. And just verify it easy for a couple of days. Maybe you should stay away from the stairs likewise :) EDIT**As far as the crutches, you crapper try to put whatever washcloths on the pads to give them a lowercase extra padding, but in my experience, it really does not help much. Keep whatever lotion low your arms and on your hands. After a couple of days, you module just be utilised to it and hopefully by then, the doctor module allow you to start bearing coefficient on the leg anyways.
