Alright, don't laugh too hard. I was taking a shower last night and the shower head came out of the holder and impact my correct pointer finger. I think it impact the base of my finger. When I go to bend it, it feels stiff and I get some pain. When I touch the base, it hurts a little. And if I go to bend my digit back, I get pain in the base. There's no wound on it and I don't rattling know if it's swollen, at first glance it doesn't look so, but when I actually look at it it's a lowercase bigger. Did I meet wound it or something? It's rattling uncomfortable and makes typing a lowercase annoying. Base = towards the knuckle. compassionate about that!

When you say it hit the "base" of your finger, do you stingy the finger counsel or the joint? If it hit the tip, it's more likely to be a sprain. If it hit the knuckle, there's a possibility you haw hit chipped the bone. I'm not sure what a doctor could do for that, if anything. If it's bothering you, countenance at the take store for a hand brace that will stop you from moving your fingers. An anti-inflammatory such as Motrin haw support with the discomfort and symptom as well. They don't cost much, and that's about I'd imagine a doctor would do -- except for charge you for the office meet as well... I am not sure since I don't know much about these things. But how much does it hurt a lot? You may of hit a nerve. if it is really intense contact your topical doctor.

Yep, it sounds same a bruised bone. Put some ice on it and don't play with it --- it'll heal faster. Some good medication to aleviate pain from bruised clappers is Traumeel. It's sold in upbeat stores and is used same lotion. Good luck
