 Anyone ever have pains in the arm/shoulder with movement?

I have pain in my mitt arm and shoulder if I advise it a certain way. I cannot advise it in whatever directions because the pain (not weakness). It's not tingling or burning, just pain if I lift it up or try to reach for something. It module hurt and I have to place my arm back down. Can't find anything online about it. Anyone experience the same?

Torn rotator cuff??? Usually there is some circumstance before that causes the tear, but not ever right prior. When I injured mine it was 6 months before it reached the saucer of not being able to accomplish over my head. I did hit surgery. Look up on WEBMD its on there. God Bless Reggie
