And I'm a combative cheerleader(12 years)... it hasn't discomposed me since the doctor found it and he hadtold me to verify a couple of weeks off (which i did) and i have to get it drained (not removed because the specialist said it will still come backwards so i should get it removed when I'm 18) next week i was wondering how the machine goes and how long it takes to heal. Thanks! =)

If you hit it drained the Dr.will follow a needle in the cyst and drain it. You go about your business it is no big deal.I had a ganglion cyst distant individual years ago it was the filler of a lemon, and yes the sucker has returned it is now the filler of a 50 cent piece.

Personally, I wouldn't have it distant if it is not bothering you. Sometimes when they fill up with fluid all the Dr. has to do is smash it with a book. Avoiding surgery completely. You get immediate relief without having to have a needle or incision made. No recovery time. If they drain them they become back, also. This is the cheapest way & avoids the chance of infection. Besides, you may not have some pain or problems with it for years yet. Don't go looking for problems, if it isn't bothering you now.
