 Why does my mitt patella (knee cap) set higher on my mitt leg than my right?

When I move around, sometimes I have to shake out my left leg to loosen the physique up tension around my knee. Should I be concerned? If so, what can I do to the aware the problem or modify my patella to the same level where my right patella is?

When the kneecap sits higher on the leg, it's titled patella alta; a student can usually confirm it with x-rays. This can cause patella chase problems or patellar instability. If the knee really starts to bother you, see an orthopedist.
