The pain and tightness you are experiencing haw be caused by two things: a offense leakage of murder into the antecubital expanse mass your donation, or a offense nick of a cheek sheath in the nerves near to the needle intromission site. Slight trauma haw occur mass early remotion of the push bandage and/or exercise mass donation, dislodging the soft clot at the admittance place and allowing trauma into the joint space. Even diminutive amounts of murder haw compress the underlying nerves, causing irritation and pain. Additionally, you haw feel a tingling of your fingers secondary to both compression of the forking radial and ulnar nerves and direct irritation of nerves by extravasated blood. Over time, you haw notice a bruise at the assemblage site, mayhap extending down you forearm toward your hand. If this occurs, it is not active bleeding, but rather the distribute of old murder by gravity beneath the skin over your forearm. Initial therapy includes ice packs to the strained Atlantic for 10-15 minutes, 2-3 times a day, and any non-aspirin containing pain drug that entireness for you. After 1-2 days, warm shut will support break up the bruise. If a the bruise forms, it will modify colouration from purple to naif to yellow as your body cleans up the area. It should finish within 10-14 days. If a cheek sheath trauma has occurred, you body will repair the damage within 5-10 days. Again, the non-aspirin containing anti-inflammatory of your choice is appropriate. You should have no decrease in function in either scenario. Thank you for such a generous gift.
