People ache their tongues all the time. It's not a serious injury. Drink some ice cold water to help dull the pain. You will survive.

Pro is right; your body's muscles respond to the icy (and then hot,) factor. Get whatever cover or something on it, and after it has numbed, relax it with a hearty drink. If putting something hearty on it is uncomfortable, feel completely at bag to continue with the icy factor. Either way, it won't matter by tomorrow; the tongue bounces backwards within 24 hours in most cases - this is nothing for your tongue. Hope this helps, and God bless.

suck on some ice.. and for the nose..pinch the bridge of your nose and NEVER tilt your head back
