I have to get 4 shots in like 1/2 an hour and I have had EMLA on both arms for 1 hr 45 min. My question is if it is totally painless or not.

Yes, i have EMLA on prescription because i requirement to use it often. It does impact as daylong as the needle is inserted where the cream has been. The area where the cream has been should be desensitize so you won't feel a thing :D Just behave and look the another way
