1 - Nothing is free. It comes discover of taxes, increased prices and porer service. #2 - Look at any country with national health care... the service is terrible, the waits are long, and the care is commonly inferior. #3 - Any economist will tell you that efficiency is achieved when market forces rule. The problem in the USA is that the provider sets both the obligation and the price - but managed care is dealing with that... somewhat. I wouldn't modify either.

Ditto David. Free National Health Care... that phrase brings me acerbic chills. Nothing from the government is free! Besides, contrary to what the democrats verify you, it is not the government's responsibility to verify care of you. I would literally die before I permit my government verify away my freedom like that. Hooah! God bless our country.

Those who think that the "private sector" as it currently exists in the U.S. are the ones who are believing in a "fictitious nirvana." I verify it you hit never been designated as uninsurable, or are wealthy enough to pay high premiums. The horror stories most tending in another countries are largely apocryphal, and mostly hit to do with elective procedures. I hit talked to Canadians, Britons, Australians and New Zealanders most their care, and while they all acknowledge their systems are not perfect, I hit not found one who would change what they hit for what we (don't) have. It is unconscionable that we are the exclusive industrialised nation in the Western concern not to guarantee our citizens at small basic care. What is to be gained by grouping doing without tending and/or being driven bankrupt? Do conservatives somehow think that builds case and "personal responsibility"? Health tending is a manlike right, not a commodity. What it's going to verify is grouping only refusing to pay medical bills to obligate a founder in the non-system, so something entirely new can be shapely out of its ashes.

The problem with health care in our country is that it entireness on a supply and demand basis. While this entireness great in almost every aspect, when it comes to a alive assist instead of having a normal supply/demand curve the line becomes almost vertical. Extreme prices are the rusult. In different industrys for alive services the government regulates prices. This is not true for the medical industry. Both political parties are coming up with fixes and both political parties have failed. I don't believe that "Free Nationla Health Care" is the respond but kinda we should move into a toll regulation policy. This has worked in other alive services much as electricty, and uncolored gas. I also believe that doctors should be more protected from lawsuits so that their malpractice shelter becomes affordable.
