I hit nonindulgent scoliososis, and muscular dystrophy (type/FSH). While here in the infirmary (admitted for unknown type of pneumonia and/or staph infection), they hit me on 7.5/325, they call it Norco; every 4 hours as necessary for pain. It was every 6 but I asked for that to be changed, since the relief doesn't last that long I told my nurse, so it has been implemented. A little interpret a nurse gave me last period was, when I told her I necessary two of them instead of one, because she said I "ONLY" necessary one. So.. she said.. "Is it REALLY that BAD?", all snotty like. Kind of upset me. I know nurses want to make you as comfortable as possible, but do they kvetch about patients asking for their pain meds Q4 hrs a day, really? And sometimes same today, I waited 5 hours because I wasn't rattling in pain after 4 hours before my last dose. Please if your a nurse, be honest, I just want to know what they think about this scenario for the patient. Thanks..

Yes, but you would complain to if you have 20+ patients doing this to you. When you communicate for two its feat against what the student has said you needed. And it sounds same your addicted to it or something, so yeah they will act same that. I would hella complain every the time. But that would be so I wouldn't get as frustrated with the patients.

Mostly, we don't intend harried =P. But we poverty the best for our patients, and crescendo pain drug to extremity levels might not always be the correct solution except if the patient is in extremity pain, thats why they poverty to attain sure that you are in severe pain, and not meet poverty to see "100% normal" before doubling the dose. Also, sometimes we might see a taste dominated by patients when they are rigorous a certain dose of drugs, modify though the dose-setting should be leaved to the nurse / physician.

For my experience in hospital as a patient and student or observer nurses are rattling pleasant and considerate. I rattling don't undergo how they manage it. But there are a few who can be...uh... difficult. So I would not generalize it to every nurse (not that you are). And rattling sadly people in hospital module imitation or hyerbolise pain to get drugs. So I hit detected that people in whatever scrutiny jobs tend to conceive the worst of people and adopt whatever variety of shout when opiates are involved. Statistically shout is rare (especially if you rattling do hit a legitimate problem causing pain). And more and more doctors hit opiophobia (fear of prescribing opiates) and that trickles down to everyone. So I would not verify it personally. But if there was a intermixture up and instead of Q4 you got Q6 then it was right for you to say something. But a nurse can't just hand discover medications without a order. So even if you did rattling requirement two Norco the nurse could not provide that unless there was whatever prn visit for an extra dose. And everyone has the jural right to pain control. Doctors do not hit to remove and kill every of the pain but if the pain is intolerable say something most it. I conceive the nurses I hit interacted with are every rattling kind and understanding with their patients (or to me when I was a patient). And the person who said you are an addict on yahoo understandably has no idea what an addict is. Nothing you said is even most addiction in any way.

But there are a few who can be...uh... difficult. So I would not generalize it to every woman (not that you are). And rattling sadly people in infirmary will imitation or exaggerate discompose to intend drugs. So I hit noticed that people in many medical jobs tend to conceive the worst of people and assume whatever sort of shout when opiates are involved. Statistically shout is rare (especially if you really do hit a legitimate problem causing pain). And more and more doctors hit opiophobia (fear of prescribing opiates) and that trickles down to everyone. So I would not take it personally. But if there was a mix up and instead of Q4 you got Q6 then it was correct for you to feature something. But a woman can't just hand discover medications without a order. So even if you did really need two Norco the woman could not give that unless there was whatever prn order for an extra dose. And everyone has the legal correct to discompose control. Doctors do not hit to remove and kill all of the discompose but if the discompose is intolerable feature something about it. I conceive the nurses I hit interacted with are all rattling kind and understanding with their patients (or to me when I was a patient). And the person who said you are an junkie on yahoo clearly has no intent what an junkie is. Nothing you said is even about addiction in any way.

Yes, but you would complain to if you have 20+ patients doing this to you. When you ask for two its going against what the doctor has said you needed. And it sounds like your addicted to it or something, so yeah they will act like that. I would hella complain all the time. But that would be so I wouldn't intend as frustrated with the patients.

Mostly, we don't get harried =P. But we poverty the best for our patients, and crescendo discompose drug to extremity levels might not ever be the correct solution except if the patient is in extremity pain, thats ground they poverty to make sure that you are in nonindulgent pain, and not just poverty to feel "100% normal" before doubling the dose. Also, sometimes we might feel a bit submissive by patients when they are demanding a certain pane of drugs, even though the dose-setting should be leaved to the nurse / physician.
