 how do i administer for social security impairment income?

my husband was told by the county that he crapper not work because he is not mentally steady enough to do so. How do we go about applying for ssdi? are there online papers we crapper file? any help would be great no rude answers please

First you have to go to a doctor and intend a diagnosis, or slip with the last day you worked on it. Then call Soc Sec or go to an office. They will give you a muti-page form to fill out. Then they strength send you to one of their doctors too for boost assessment and proof. Then if they agree you qualify, you don't start getting paid till 6 months after your last day worked. In the meantime you strength intend SSI. I was lucky and had brief constituent and long constituent disability insurance, to intend me finished till they started paying.
