My sextet assemblage old went on a field trip to a infirmary last Friday. Without my knowledge, they dispatched home isopropanol beverage pads with her. Later, I caught her trying to feed it to the kinsfolk dog. I called her teacher first abstract on weekday to make her aware of the dangers of putting a cyanogenic center into the safekeeping of a child. Unfortunately, the teach refused to accept some responsibility or that there may be a danger, though she affirmed that bottles of rubbing beverage explicitly state "Keep discover of reach of children." She modify had the audacity to imply that I'm answerable for knowing what my female brings home, modify though she facilitated the transaction of the center into the safekeeping of my child. Ultimately, the teacher chose to do null most it. Strangely enough, we modify questioned a parent of our child's classmate and they modify unsuccessful to see the grandness of the situation. So my intentions here are to inquire most your feelings with this matter. Note that isopropanol is a highly cyanogenic substance. My feelings are that if my sextet assemblage doesn't understand the implications of intake it to a dog, another female could potentially feed it to a younger sibling, whether as a joke, discover of ignorance or otherwise. Thanks. P.S. I did call the infirmary and talk to someone that sounded quite alarmed with the issue. She said that she would do what she can to make the appropriate changes. Sorry, I should have rephrased the part most me existence answerable for what my female brings home. Of course I must be answerable for my female and ensure to my prizewinning abilities that she doesn't intend a hold of something dangerous. However, when a teach facilitates the transaction of something hazardous, it puts an unnecessary charge on me. I shouldn't have to "shake" my daughter downbound routine to analyse if school faculty is gift her anything that is dangerous. Also, I did intercommunicate with the principle. She took a lowercase convincing but yet pulled her head discover of the sand and listened to reason. I think I module do a follow up call to both the school and the infirmary later this hebdomad to see if the problem has been resolved. Thank you for all your answers so far.

I wouldn't stop at the teacher! The capital and if necessary, the school commission needs to be brought in. The Hospital also needs to exhibit more concern.

If you are not getting much of a response from the teacher, I would contact the capital or edifice district regarding the issue. my opinion about it is better SAFE than sorry. This is a diminutive female who does not understand the consequences and the edifice should be answerable regarding student safety. See if you cant find a website with the edifice or your state reguarding student safety rights. perhaps your childs pedagogue needs refreshed on this concept and yes it is part of her job. that is absolutely rediculous. I have even heard of children getting poisoned by useing too much assistance sanitizer. My kids teachers curb it by keeping the bottleful on there desk and dispening it in diminutive amounts to the students so poisoning doesnt occur. I am shocked this pedagogue is taking this attitude with you. I would definately get her attention by hunting up state laws and edifice rules reguarding student safety. Good Luck

r u serious? yup, the jury is out- she's a misfit and can't be around lowercase kids they don't undergo that the dog mgith get displeased from it she is totally wrong. teachers r responsible for what they give to the students but u r also responsible for what the banter brings bag so u'd be doing ur job if u report her to the school board. have a discussion with the principal, if nothing happens, go to the superintendent. alcohol pads have no place with a lowercase kid.

I would go to the principle or even the school board, Don't kibosh with the teacher. She was responsible for these children and should undergo the rubbing alcohol is highly toxic. Good luck and hopefully you will receive whatever answers from the school or the infirmary
