I am 13 and I have moderate acne, perspiration (hands, feet, and underarms) and I have GERD (reflux) Those are the major things that rattling bother me in my life. Is there something seriously wrong with me, or is it just puberty? (my mom says it's only puberty....) what would you suggest to fix these problems?

GERD has nothing to do with puberty. The first abstract a good student would tell you to do is to raise the head of your bed 6 inches. That way you'll be sleeping at an angle. First see if a rattling bland fasting helps. Toast, bananas, applesauce, rice, yogurt, tea. Nothing spicy. You can either put pieces of wood down, or you can buy "Bedraisers" at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. There are also medications for GERD , like Zantac. (prescription strength) If your breadbasket is bothering you every day, or every time you eat, you should see your student for help! You're pain for no reason. Bless you and good luck. :)

Acne and hyperhidrosis definitely have a correlation with puberty, GERD not so much. Acne is treatable with OTC topical Benzoyl Peroxide medications. Hyperhidrosis is treatable with OTC topical Aluminum Chloride medications. If those don't work well enough, see a dermatologist. Re: GERD, have you been diagnosed? Calcium Carbonate crapper cause (rebound) increase in breadbasket acidity. Focus on limiting intake of famous stressors such as fatty foods, caffeine, acidic foods, dairy products, etc. Especially, don't eat New in the night.
