 Why could a male hit painful nipples?

For about a week now, both my nipples hit been rattling sore and protective to the touch. I hit not worked out my pecs in a patch (the soreness is limited to the areola, noticed any kind of discharge, changed my diet, absent streaming or attrited clothes that could chafe the skin, or changed soaps or detergents, and I don't feel any lumps. Just slightly swollen and protective nipples. What else could be the cause?

I would see the student it could be a mastisis or something worse. Maybe even man breast cancer. JK. But seriously that sounds like its serious.
