 How long does lunesta take to go into effect?

I was presented a distribution of lunesta to verify but I want to know how long does that go into effect. I am a severe insomniac and most unerect pills don't work for me unless I verify more than the regaular dosage so how long after I verify lunesta should I move to fall insensible before I realize that it's not working.
