depends on when you started. puberty commonly is anywhere between 12-18 yrs

There's no artefact to undergo and no, not every males hit a growth spout (especially not at 18). I was finished ontogeny by 15 or 16. Maybe you are too. Or maybe you aren't. We wouldn't know.
