 What is it titled when people tell you stuff so it happens?

What is it called when someone tells you something over and over (about you, much as "you're feat to feel this way", or "this is how you act") and you eventually end up doing these things because of existence told over and over, even if you wouldn't have had you not been told it constantly?

Talking it into cosmos is what I call it. Academics call it a "self-fulfilling prophesy." Think of this: God created the worlds by speaking it into existence. He created us with the power of speech. Animals don't have it although they have intelligence. That's because mankind is created in the God class and can speak things into existence.
